hey, im sure this will be an easy question to answer: how do i modify how bright the game is(as in level of lighting when no "light" markers are set?

the ambiance level. use the <> keys to change it in test game. enter to save.

Load a map in the editor, click test game. While in test game use the "<" and ">" keys to adjust the ambient light. Once it is at the lighting level you want. Hit enter to save the setting.

Just to clarify, those keys are the "<" and ">" keys, not the arrow keys.

It could also be changed via an fpi script.

Just open
Quote: "Files\languagebank\english (or other the language you use)\gamebank\mygame\setuplevel.fpi "


with notepad and find the line :

Quote: ":state=0:ambience=25,ambiencered=255,ambiencegreen=255,ambienceblue=255"

Where it says ambience=25 , you could change that value from 0 to 100
