Hi,

When I change the amibient lighting and press <ENTER> to save, it doesn't appear to save. What I mean is when I reload the map the ambient lighting is the default once again. I'm thinking it might be because of my mod so what I'm asking or wondering does it work for everybody else?

Oddly enough, that has happened to me, both for ambient lighting and for global lighting colour settings.
However, just to confuse the issue, it has happened to me on unmodded installations of fps, and only on my XP system.

Go figure!

Mine has a mind of its own as well Flatlander.
I keep having to use the > key then hitting enter again, only to have it go dark again on the next test.

It's not a big deal for me though, because I usually have a script controlling that in my builds anyway to override the < and > keys in game.

Flatlander, is this with just the beta or using RPG Mod? IIRC, we had an issue before with ambient lighting and you had inserted some code so we had more control over it. I'm wondering if your "bypass" code is causing the issue.

@Blackfox: any mods I may be running are slightly older versions, and I still lose settings.
Hope this helps.

I figured out this is due to FPSC sometimes loading the default level script files in it's core directory and sometimes the ones in your game folder 'gamecore' directory. Ensure both are set to the same settings to have to stop altering all the time!
