That's it? No variations, scratches, or anything? Meh...

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

Wow; how about a "thankyou", or say nothing at all. Attitudes like this are why numerous people do not dish out free work here anymore.

I didn't mean to sound harsh but I mean they could use some improvements. And why not put them in one pack?

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

@AJ Schaeffer: why do they have to be all scratched up?? Maybe they are from some brand new hotel, cruise ship, spaceship, colony, etc and then the story goes from there to whatever you can come up with. It's not like it's really that hard to create a couple of scratches or whatever on your own.

Not trying to be mean but everyone on here is in this kick of it's gotta be grungy looking and all messed up. That's the problem with horror in general now days eventhing is dark and grungy all the time and it doesn't have to be like that...it takes creativity.

Okay back on topic: good choice of colors for the signs....a blood overlay would still so up really well on those so they're not too dark, but not too light either. Very plain and simple like most hotels would have.

I'm not sure if you added a blank one or not, but if you didn't it might be good to add a blank so people can use it for more than just the rooms you labeled and also tell people what font and size you used so they can make them to match

But if that isnt the case, Voicesdark, and the game that this were intended is abandoned stuff, then it would be irrelevant all the things you just said....

This wasnt Media Intended for a game, just free media, then it wasnt made for an specific style, and if he wants to use it as grunge, he can feel free to do it.

That is why if you go back in my original post and re-read it you will see where I wrote:

"It's not like it's really that hard to create a couple of scratches or whatever on your own."

The signs are crisp, clean and brand new looking....It is MUCH easier to add scratches or blood or whatever than it is to take it off. No one can expect a modeler to be able or be willing to create every variation that everyone is going to want, so all we have to do is say thank you for them being nice enough to make them and release them for free and then customize them for our specific needs.

Sorry that's the point I was trying to make in my original post guess I just worded it wrong.

Sorry, no offence to anyone, but I myself have been nagged at for this. When I make models for a pack, I tend to release clean textures, unless the object really needs the grunge.

It is easy to grunge up a texture for use in a Horror, or Grungy Sci-fi game, But it is next to "impossible" to clean up an already grunged up texture for a clean look if it's needed.

Things always start out clean, when new. The wear and tear come from use, and the passage of time.

So I personally agree that the release of clean textures is way more useful, as they allow a wider rage of use in the end.

Again, I'm not trying to put anyone down here, everyone has they're own style of media they like, and that should be respected.
But it just gives a wider rage of use to release clean textures to start with, and let the individual developer alter them as needed to suit they're games.

Just something to think about, All my best everyone.

Thank you for the signs and thanks for keeping them "clean".

I make games for educational purposes and have bought much media from the store (and commissioned some), but I can only buy clean, non-grunge media for my projects. In one language learning game I needed a bathroom and needed to "clean" my blood-filled FPSC media to a blue, beautiful bath that children would feel comfortable with using.

I have bought Bond1's restroom sink, Homewrecker's Studio's Toilet, etc. to complete my bathroom. They were all "clean" and ready for use. But Robert Fritzy showed the way for artists by providing a both "clean" and cracked (scary) mirror for sale.

As I understand, artists need to create the original before "grunging" it. So, to double your income produce your original, put it up for sale as a clean model; grunge a second, put it up for sale as a grungy model; horrify a third and put it up for sale; scifi a fourth and put it up for sale, etc.

But, bottom line, some of us need a clean model to work. Thanks again.
