Command is now obsolete!!! thats totally stupid,how do i texture the backdrop now?? It wasnt obsolete until i installed the update.....

it always was obsolete. it never worked in DBP, in any patch.

TEXTURE BACKDROP looks crappy and really unprofessional anyway. so go make a skybox.
