A more helpfull answer:

Like anything, you have to put time and effort into your coding.
Arnold Swarblehblehbigbloke didnt become a strong chap over night.

Look at the commands. Read the tutorials. The most important thing to grasp is the structure of coding and how things fit together.

Write a VERY simple game. for example just moving a cube around the screen and build up from there.

Wrtie 4 or 5 small game before you try and take on something substantial. If you go for a big game straight away you will come un stuck.

I've had 3 games published commercially and on the shelves - but i wrote 5 full games before i attempted to get signed up for my first one.

Good luck

PS - biggest tip is - have fun

Regards,
Dave Milton

Endless space? No such thing, at least in a computer game. You either have to wrap around at some point, hit a wall (such as a numerical limit), or move around on a 'conveyor belt' where the scenery moves around you.

The RoadTerrain demo is a good example, check out the code and you'll see that it and endless loop even if it is not endless space.

You will also need a skybox - a box that moves with you that is textured with your horizon and landscape. Because it moves with you, you never reach it, and you always have a landscape (or spacescape)
