I've been searching around, and none of the topics I find can solve my problems. Basically, every single sound included with FPS Creator out of the box is terrible and sounds bad (take a visit to the folder with the thug voices and such, you can tell it's just a single person (Lee I assume) doing the voices), regardless, this is a basic question:

Where are the footstep sounds located?

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

Files\audiobank\materials

Depending on the type of surface,a certain sound is played from that folder.

There's 4 variations for each surface so it doesn't sound even worse than it does currently.

Is there anyway to just use 1 set instead of material relation? I know that's an odd request, but currently the material I have sounds like crap. I'm using the fists from Model Pack 9 and for some reason it replaced the walk sounds with a poor attempt at rattling gear when walking.

Its not...that is some sound from the guns folder that is playing to the wrong animation.

Update to the new Modelpack 9 /10 Version including airmodfeatures.
If this does not help delete / or replace with silent wav files all sounds except fire and retrieve.

If you are aiming for a quality game: Don't use ANY stock sounds. You should find a lot footstep and material sounds on fps banana or similar sites

Oh yes, I know to go for custom sounds. Sound work for me generally is the last thing I worry about. Smooth game play and level design is priority.
