Hello everyone,

Hopefully this thread wont give too much away...but here goes. I was wondering if anyone could give me a detailed explanation (or point me to a tutorial) on how to get entities bond1 shader ready. I have all the required maps already (D2, D, N and S) but I cant for the life of me figure out how to get past the step where the Normal Channel gets placed into the Alpha Channel of the Specular Map (As in Bond's video). If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Oh and BTW, I use GIMP for texturing.

NOTE: This is all Im gonna give away, but yes, this question is asked because there IS a pack in the works which I want to make Bond1 shader ready (never released a pack with shaders yet). It will either be created by me, or me and a very talented partner (You knwo who you are ) You guys can expect it to be released in March, with a W.I.P thread going up as soon as I get an answer to this question.

Cheers,
Anayar

Got a little preoccupied with other things outside of FPSC and had to get them taken care of.

Sorry for yankin' up an old topic....but I'd like to use normal maps with fpsc dx9 ....and this is the closest thing to current date that I can find.I have basic fpsc x9, registered version, not the free one.

First question.Do I need Dark Shader?How do I go about naming them, i.e. bmp.dds ,bmp_nrml.dds, etc.?

Second question.I want to make my own Dungeon Crawler RPG.The question is not can fpsc do it, but do I need Fenix, Plys or project blue?

My comp specs are : 3.4 ghz amd 64 x2( not 2 of 'em), ati radeon 5570 1gb 4gb ddr3 memory, motherboard switched to slower speed.
Here's an example of one of my normal maps :
