I'm very new at fpsc and haven't really started scripting or anything, so my apologies for these dumb questions, but... How would I edit the marks my bullets leave on walls (what image it uses)? The blood splatters from bad guys? The HUD? (Like how it looks, how much life/lives I have, etc). Thanks!

The image for bullets and blood can be found here, C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\bulletholes. Life and health are here, C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\languagebank\english\gamecore\huds. If you replace these files be sure to back them up. For life and health you could use your own images, name them as you see fit. In FPSC go to file, build game. On the level settings tab edit the global script. Scroll down to the status panels. There you can change the images used and there locations. I don’t think you can point the bullets and blood to another file. And which one is used, I believe has something to do with gunspec’s or material’s.

Hope that helped.

Blood will always be random, but the bulletholes are dependant upon the material that was shot. I really think FPSC could have used multiple bulletholes for each material type, so all of the bulletholes don't look the same (unrealistic and all that) and would allow users to easily change the bulletholes for individual materials.

Best way to accomplish this would be making single graphics for every bullet hole instead of a single image.

if you open you're enemies fpe file you'll find a certain line named decal1 = blood. You can replace "blood" with any other decal in you're decalbank
