I can place a watch tower. I can place a figure, but I can't work out how to get a figure into a guard tower. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Assuming you are referring to the Watch Tower in the WW2 section of FPS Creator.

1. Place your tower
2. Choose your character; before you place the character, use the page-up/page-down keys to adjust the height. You want to raise it so it is on the top platform just below the roof of the tower.

Hmmm. I've never had any problems with having them stay up there

They stay up there, but more than half of the times they don't manage to see the player using the default AI. And if they do, they don't aim down at the player and they don't really do much other than spin around.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

All you have to do is change one line in the script and they will react to players further away.

EDIT: Yes Storyteller that's exactly it.

Yes, and if you press shift + enter the character will snap to the floor on the tower and not the roof

Sorted. Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can do that. I did not mention that because there are some instances where I do that and my character does not appear on the layer I am viewing. For example if I am on layer 5, use the page-up key to raise the character to the height I want, then press shift + enter, it will go to the layer the guard will actually be on. I figured that might confuse new people, but that method does work too. The guard will actually be +3 layers, so if my tower is on layer 5 and I want the guard in the tower, he will actually be visible on layer 8.
