Hey guys, I've installed DarkGDK recently on my new computer, I'm running Windows 7, and I can't get GDK to compile. I've set code generation to /MT, and I've ignored all the appropriate libraries, and I've even reinstalled the Windows SDK, but I'm still getting this error. I tried to find atlsd.lib on google for download but I couldn't find it either.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

It's a Visual C++ thing

Uninstall and re-install of visual C++ Express, (and then re-checking code generation switch) solved it for me.

It's not my fault!

I'm using VS2010. Do you happen to know if it will solve it with this version, or older versions? This never happened before with older versions.

I guess a reinstall couldn't hurt.

I've reinstalled, created a new project and put it back to all my old settings, but I'm still getting the same link error. Anyone else know what's going on here?

go to project > properties > configuration properties > linker > input > ignore specific library > and add that library

You might as well also ignore libcmtd.lib, and msvcrtd.lib as they both generate linker conflicts in conjunction with DarkGDK(at least for me anyways).

Thanks guys, I managed to get it fixed though. Turns out GDK is very picky about DX SDK version numbers
