Hi all! I am trying to make my first game and I need some help. My idea is to put a vent shaft in a room that leads to a secret room. I want the shaft beneath the main layer to go across a couple of rooms and back up in the secret room.

You could have the shaft lead to a small room that has another shaft at a lower level (use crates, etc. to climb up to the other shaft on the other side), then do the opposite on the other side.

A bookshelf could hide the vent

You could have many different static shafts and 2 dynamic ones (one to go back to where the person came from and 1 to go to the secret room) and you just copy the dooruse.fpi script and remove where it shows the "Press enter to use" Hud, so they don't know which one to use, just for a little bit of overkill.
