Hey Errant AI, I have a question for you. So far I know how to do almost anything in FPSC, such as scripting, adding textures, making entity's, editing existing weapons, but the only thing I do not know how to do is "animations". I purchased a couple of your weapons from the TGC store, and they have some pretty good animations on them. Do you have a certain program that you use to make them? Could you teach me how to make animations? Thank you.

You can use just about any modeling software to make your own or edit pre-existing weapon animations. I believe EAI uses 3D Studio Max, if I remember correctly. But Blender, Milkshape and Fragmotion all work just the same.

I would suggest starting out by grabbing the Milkshape and Fragmotion trials, importing one of EAI'S weapons, and then following some of the rigging tutorials provided by the community here to get accustomed to the process.

EDIT: Just reread your post and saw that you said you already know how to modify EAI weapons. As far as learning animation goes, your best bet would be to pick a software, and then read up on the animation tutorials for it.

@Kravenwolf - Thank you for the tutorials, but I already know how to do that, I attached a tactical sight onto Errant AI's G36C already. (see pics) I am looking to make my own animations from scratch. And thank you, I will try out 3D Studio Max.

Erm, you do know it's like a $3,000 software, right?

I would look into FragMotion, it's $50, and it's excellent, there's also a 60 day trial for you to learn it in.

More than likely following the philosophy; 'once a pirate always a pirate'. If you were caught pirating one software, chances are you'd try it with TGC products as well. And even suggesting pirating around here isn't a wise thing to do especially just coming back from a ban for pirating

Agreed. That is the number 1 way to get yourself in more trouble, however, it must take guts to admit that though because most people would be ashamed and / or worried about the fact.

@Kravenwolf - I could just try out the free version of 3D studio max that they have to offer. And I already have fragmotion and milkshape. That is how I modded the G36C.

(P.S, lets try not get off the subject here, all I need is a decent animation program, not information on who pirates stuff. Thank you)

Somewhat agree. However, most people even on these forums have used some kind of music program to get free music. Most people simply can't deny. Even those who used Napster when it was up count. Regardless, piracy is not allowed to be discussed on these forums, so I suggest the topic is dropped.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.
