FPSC Classic Product Chat / Can't Respawn Killed Enemy After A Delay

Just trying to keep things simple whilst I learn the basics, and I've printed off the User Guide, Community Guide Part 1, and Community Guide Part 2, but I can't get the thug to respawn after a delay. He respawns OK, but immediately.

Thug1
I've set "spawn after delay" to "Yes".
I've set "Spawn when dead" to "Yes".
I've set "delay" to "50000"
But when I kill him he respawns straight away.

I've attached the fpm file

Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me what I've done wrong please?

You're not doing anything wrong - it's just that you can't have both. Your entity can either:
- respawn when dead,
OR
- spawn more after a delay,

As far as I can tell you can't respawn an entity X second after killing it.

Not without a mod anyway.

In the FPSC User Guide it says ""Delay" - "Sets the delay before the entity will spawn again after being destroyed".

Is that incorrect then?

I'd say so. I've tested these settings a lot as I wanted a similar feature too, but i found as long as spawn after death is set to yes, the enemy will re-appear instantly.

We could do with some Spawn Controls really.
