For all those who came to post on the synthetic reality pack posts, GREAT JOB! You really helped me to keep on going!





The Synthetic Reality Pack vol. 1 is designed for those producing games to claim. So, to get this pack, you must email me with:

a) the name of your current project (all info will be kept confidential if it is not already posted on the forums)

b) your interest in the pack

c) (optional) tell me a little about your project.

Once you receive the pack, you must mail me back with your reaction to the pack and what you think I should change for the next pack (Synthetic Reality Pack vol. 2) which is already visible on the forums.

Whenever you require people to join something, send an email, fill out a form, or do something other than just download your content, you severely limit the use of and response to your work. It's human nature, or at least forum nature.

Your work looks good but when I read that I had to send you an email with my reasons for wanting it, I decided I didn't need it. I'm sure you have your reasons for doing it this way, but as you see, it will limit the response.

...don't much care for doing pony tricks and jumping through hoops,
especially for the media on these boards, xplosys.

I totally hear you on this one.

Out of character for me, I did send the author an email, two days ago,
but have not received a response, as of this post.

What is most disappointing, is that the second pack was made available,
in the same fashion, yesterday 13MAR11, without even bothering to send out
the requests for the first pack.

Perhaps I did not jump through the hoops properly or something. I don't know.
I really don't have the time to care.

I no longer have a need or interest in this pack.

While it would be nice to have the opportunity to incorporate what looks to be
very good looking elements into a project, I'll be perfectly content to continue
projects without it.
