Ok i bought "Game Programming starter kit 6.0" which has Dark Basic Lite. lol little does it tell you it doesnt include anything actually useable (with saving options) besides dark basic lite itself. anyway i'm a complete new beginner and dont know where to start. i have worked with C++ a little in the past, but not a whole lot. so i do understand variables and all that to a degree so i can pick up pretty quickly on the coding i hope. what i need is a tutorial to walk me through a first game, preferably a very simple game. a tutorial that doesnt assume the person already knows everything will help also. any links to such tutorials would be appreciated. im a little pressed for time at the moment so if there are some on this forum please tell me which section , and i apologize for wasting space. thanks.
