The synthetic reality pack project has taken me very far in game design art and I would like to personally thank all of you for your kind support!

The new theme is..............GHETTO APARTMENT!

This pack is starting with one building type and will consist of three by the completion.

Synthetic reality pack 2 will be released soon for those who loved the blend of modern and sci-fi awesomeness!

Meanwhile, hours upon hours of work have given me this:

After this pack is released, it will continue in "Volume 3, part 2" as my plans for this pack are more ambitious than usual.

Part 2 centers around the interior of the apartment complexes.

Look out for:

Grungy walls,

stained carpet,

broken tile,

and dirty wood floors.

All with complete segment variations, 2 levels, full shader preparation and compatibility, and the closest that I can approach to photorealism without photographic textures.

Feel free to express your thoughts.

Can't wait for this to be released, i have a small idea more or so.

Nice, is the shader on the buildings just the stock bump.fx?

Are the windows 3d or just the flat texture. If it's just flat it's getting a really nice effect. Good work

The segments are using the bond 1 shader, although they could easily use the stock bump effect by changing the texture name from _I to _S.

Thank you all for your comments!

These are really great screens!
Great job on all of you're work so far, you just keep getting better and better.

Now, just a disclaimer. The following is not intended to start a flame war.
So far, for your 'Synthetic Reality packs' you have/will make a total of 6 threads (when this one is released)
Is it possible from now on, you could just keep it all in one thread?
Some really great media gets made on here, and more and more threads kind of just get pushed off and drowned out.
Im sure a few other members would agree with me, and If you had it all in the one thread, you can easily look back on your progress, and release it all as one big pack/etc, even showing WIP's every now and then, or even sharing your knowledge.
It will be much easier on not only yourself, but the members of the community and the moderators too.

Once again, this is some amazing work, and Ill be checking in frequently to see your progressions

I have updated my email adresses. Please go to my profile for the updated information (If you need it)

Well, I think a flame war is already starting.

I believe that releasing a preview thread helps build up hype.

I don't think they're suggesting that you should stop making preview or WIP threads for your work. I think they're just saying, rather than make 4 or 5 threads showing off media for the same pack, and then starting another 4 or 5 threads to release it later on; just throw everything into one thread so it doesn't push everyone else's work down the page. And I agree. It also makes it a tad cumbersome for people that are following your work to keep having to bounce back and forth from thread to thread to see what you've done.

Consider Josh Moony's 100 models thread, for example. Imagine how much harder it would be for users to find your synthetic reality threads if he decided to make a new thread for each individual model every day.

That is not correct. I have posted 2 posts for every pack, 1 for preview, and one for release.

Each Synthetic reality pack is seperate, and therefore, not the same pack.

More screenshots coming soon!

Exactly.
I dont want to be blunt, but it seems I have to.
Please, for the sake of everyone else, use one thread, and one thread only.

Thanks for your comments, I will try to pack it tonight, but it may not be released until next week

Sorry for the wait, this pack has taken me far longer than usual, but I am happy to at least release something sometime.

@jared, thanks for the comments, but I'm not anywhere close to becoming a valued member.

I hope to get this pack released without the complaints that I received for the last release.
