Hi, i have tried to get normal mapping work without luck.

I got original texture, Diffuse, and then i got Bumpmap texture.
Why it wont work?

Im using bonds metrotheater shader.

I got just strange texture error when everything is right and it should work!I got this...

So, what the heck?
Can it be, that my graphigs driver doesnt support normal mapping?

Sometimes, i dream about TGC.

more info is needed from you, if you want people to help you try giving a step by step rundown of what you did then we may be able to see where you went wrong.

cheers henry

A normal map is not like a height-map or bump map. A height-map uses white, black and the shades of gray in between to create elevation on a flat plane based on an arbitrary scale from 0 to 1. A normal map uses the RGB color system in a much different way. Blue is flat and "Normal" red tells the computer to "react" to light in one axis and green 90 degrees from red. After that it is like a height map as to how much the "shades" of red and green increase or decrease the reaction.

The short version is you need 4 textures (texture_D2.dds, texture_D.dds, texture_N.dds, and texture_I.dds) for bonds normal shaders.

With all of his shaders he also had a video tutorial on how to use them. I recommend watching them in their entirety without distraction.
