After seeing Wizard of Id's game Proximity, all I could see was these in it. After spending most of the day working on these I thought I would release them in the store. I need some final approval first, but I thought I would give a preview of them.

Now, I must give credit where credit is due, so without Bond1's shaders these would not have been possible. Bond1 feel free to comment as I have sent you the entire thing for your enjoyment.

I have made five variations of the hand scanners.
Two static versions( one broken and one normal)
One switch
And two animated versions( again one brokem and one normal)
Last but not least I made a new spark decal to bring it all together.

Enjoy!!

Looks awesome! But hey, how do you make animated textures? OR did you just have a script that "animates" few textures?

Thanks,
TP

Looks well done. It would add a really nice effect to any Sci-fi type game. Good work.

Very nice, especially that one with the animated texture.
Nothing cooler than Biometrics.

Have you considered using a face plate for that animated one, so the animation would only play when it is pressed?
You know, the way I did the on and off for Bond's TV.
A slow single pass would look very realistic.

He probably used Bond1's shader for animating textures.

Thanks Guys!

You know I did, but I just thought I wanted to stay away from any of the scripting for this project and make it simple.

Well I may not be able to sell these in the store as they have yet to be approved. It has been about four days now since I uploaded them, so either they are really backed up or I screwed up somewhere. I keep you all posted.

It also seems I yet to capture Bond1's attention. Does anyone have a loudspeaker I can borrow?

Actually I didn't create them for BLR. I made them based on Woi game. I don't think I will be using them in BLR, but I might. I have other plans for BLR.

I am trying to release them, but they won't let me until bond1 gives his permission. I made these using bond's free shaders, but Janet said without his written permission, she will not release them. As of right now if bond does not respond within this next week I will find another alternative to get these out. I have for bond's help and permission before on things and usually he just does not answer. He is just busy so I leave it at that.

Rolfy, Cosmic, Ply, Wiz, Marc and a few others are usually my resources for help. Bond and EAI are like bonuses when I get to actually pull some info from them.

Be patient guys and it will happen soon.

Ok I have had the time today to setup an account to sell these to all of you, but instead of selling them all seperate like I was going to do in the store, I have made it all one big pack. If you want to change anything with the shaders, you can use the shaders provided or you can redownload them here and make them how you wish. Bond did an excellent job on these shaders.

Priced at just $2.50! Buy button in the first post. Enjoy!

I have uploaded this pack on my new website. I will be releasing more packs on this site, but you all will be the first to know. I have some great ideas for some new packs, but right now I have some weapons to finish for Cp's star trek pack and then back to BLR.

New site now in my profile and here is the link for the easy.
