Simple awenser is kinda. Research wine (the app not old grape juice)
if your friends mac is new enough it might work.

Edit:
Oh forget all that, I just remembered dbp needs directx, no it wont work
Sorry.

If your friends want to play games why in heck would they use a mac? Tell um too go get a pc

Ok

So the problem is that DBPro uses directX and there is no way to compile the code written in DBPro for OpenGL ( which is what works on Apple, right? )

Yeah there's no way to get directx all the way out of the picture so im allmost positive that wine can't run it (last time I checked wine cant use dlls)

Edit:
im not shure what gl apple uses, but ogl sounds right, mac being based on unix and all

It's a completely different OS, so the compiler would have to compile for iOS and OpenGL, as well as x86 and DX - it'll never happen. There is AppGameKit though, which is aimed at mobile devices but it will run on PC, and probably Mac too.

Ok, I understand. Thank you very much.

So if I want to make games for Windows and Apple, I will need another programming language, right?

TGC have some program that allow to make games in 3D for both platforms? because the AppKit is only for 2D games, right?

If he's got a newer Mac just have him dual boot between MacOS and Windows, newer Macs can run it.

Jordi it sounds like you need Java (or something similar). - It'll run on Windows & Mac.
