1724 poly - not a big impact since its a short term item, and most polys come from the wires.
Since its not going to be a long term world object, the slightly higher polycount isnt that much of a impact (mainly created for the TNT script i posted).

Only thing is that... it has a shadow.. at a wrong angle? is it me or what Oo lol - looks like some weird fpsc bug?

look at the script section, i kinda made it for my own use to blow up a sewer crate and end up sharing it too.

Its not animated - not good at that part and at best it could be perhaps turned into a "granade" replacement... stock fpsc doesn't really allow you to bomb things that easily.

tsk...Way to many polygons ...

220 polygon version made in 5 minutes (non-textured)...

A little word of advice, don't render in a black background.

thats the damn default on 3dsmax... for another color id have to set up planes and lightning.
But the model wont be on the scene for more than 4-5 sec anyway so not a bug deal really lol
+ u possibly have many many years more experience with 3d (how to get proper shapes faster and with low poly), my 3d experience is less than a month.

Nope,I'm a 2d artist and programmer with years of experience.

I've been modeling for a few months realistically speaking.

Huh?...Press 8 in whatever viewport and change Ambient to something brighter than the default black (this affects shading of the object).

Change Color to something brighter than black (this affects the render background color)

..If you mean the wrapping , planes with manual extrusions edge by edge (Select an edge on a 1 polygon plane, hold Shift and move in a direction of your choice)
In the end you weld the starting and ending 2(by 2) verticles on the newly extruded plane,so you have a closed circuit

possibly can be even lower poly : .. 1 wire going into the middle of 3 (detonator there, and all 3 are like glued together, so no wrapping
that would be like another -80 polys :d

The wires in my *cough*crappy*cough* model are 6x4 polygons each
The wrapping was around 40 polygons in total.

Technically 3 wires intersecting wouldn't be real.
The wrapping around the sticks is not needed if the wires are wrapped together at some point
