I think we can agree that FPSC has come a long way from its infancy. I know what the system requirements and system preferences are right from the box, but with all the upgrades and P2 shaders as well as added bells and whistles, what would be the preferred system stats now? I ask because I have not upgraded to all the P2 goodness since my system is ancient; I am purchaseing a new PC soon and want to make sure I'm up to par. Any help would be great. Thanks inadvance!

Well, I am running the latest version of FPSC on my cheap and nearly 4 year old laptop (has a GF 7600 Mobile graphics card) so I guess any modern PC with a dedicated graphics card would do.

My 3 year old desktop pc runs FPSC rock solid at 60 FPS. Even though my desktop PC is faster I always design and build my games on the laptop to make sure my games are lean and effecient on most modern hardware.

It all comes down to your skills in tweaking level design rather than your actual hardware. It's easy to screw something up and destroy framerate if you design your levels with a bulldozer.

I would go with a dual core min but 4 cores if you can.

4gb ram min.

500gb hard drive or higher if u can.

geforce 8800gts min or a new geforce 450 or higher if you can.
