You can not sell them.
edit: let alone release them
It says in the license of the site that they are not to be sold, individually, or as part of a collection.
To me, these emails are fake.
The work is his, not yours.
If you actually want to sell them, make new ones by yourself. The work is not yours, and you can not sell it, regardless if you sell a model built for it.

I'm not sure if you're still selling it but it was released.

Go on cg textures, people may use it alot but it has tonnes of high quality textures which are free to use on 3d models.

He works for big box games - Why the heck would he just let you sell them for as little as just a bit of credit. The e-mail you sent him was too brief - and the email "philip" sent was really breif - he would probably give a longer explanation like what titanium said. I totally think the e-mail was fake. Why are you doing this?

Someone should e-mail philip about this to make sure that this is legit.

Heya, I just wanted to say that he actually did ask for permission. Those mails are in fact legit.

I agree looking at them now, they didn't really look like professional replies :S

I agree it would seem suspicious, but the reason for me doing this, is that the textures are very old by now, and quite frankly I don't really care for what purpose they are used anymore.

Just pointing out that the PhilipK that posted up above registered a day before his post and has never started and threads and has no contact info.
However his language was significantly different.
I think it would be best to move on and focus on Dark's modeling skills.

All browsers should come with compulsory spell checks.
