FPSC Classic Product Chat / Is there a timed Triggerer? A function to trifgger events/sounds over time?

Is there a function will allow the player to trigger an event or a sound (for example) 5 seconds after he stepped into an event marker?

Usually when a user steps into the marker, an event is triggered instantly but is it possible to delay an event for an X amount an seconds?

I'm pretty sure you could do this without a trigger by using a dynamic entity. When the player gets close to the entity you could start the entity timer. Then when the timer reaches 3 seconds it could spawn your other entities.

Hmm... interesting. Unfortunately I'm not a coding geek so I cant code scripts. Could you suggest a good place for tutorials that I can read / watch.

There are some useful threads in the scripting board. I will make a script for you which does this and I'll write a little thing to go with it to explain what each thing is doing.
