Hi,
just started to use fpsc a couple days ago, and i have some trouble with some of the characters..

..It seems they wont stay on the floor, but sinks half way down trough the floor, so only the upper body is visable.

I have upgraded directx to 9.0c, looked trough the manual, searched the internet etc. but I have not found the problem.

Also, some characters have no texture, they just plain white.

I hope someone can help, or guide me in the right direction..

..At last, sorry for my bad english and noobie questions

Have you upgraded to at least 1.17? There is even the BETA version of 1.18 that you can play around with. When you place your characters, before clicking to place them press the enter button so they snap to the floor. But if your still using the Version 1, I think upgrading will fix it.

If you have not upgraded I would see what happens when you with the character textures. If you have upgraded, let us know and we'll go from there.

Thanks

I see, I have not upgraded yet (I download as i write this).

I have snaped them to the floor, but they still sink through.
I will try the upgrade and see what happens.
Thanks again

There you see.. Noobish, I didnt even think of an upgrade, to eager to build with version 1.

Anyways, I hope the upgrade fixes the problem, I will post what happens here.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

i'm going to guess you are using default models if you are so new but just in-case your not: some custom models sink into the floor because the foot bone (or lowest bone) is too high in the armature. if you are using the default models just ignore this statement.
