Hi all
Background first:
My game (currently) is a long tunnel with no roof, just walls and floor.
I'm trying to create a "background" or "sky".
So I've tried making a massive plane and adding a texture, which kind of works but unless I'm close to the object it doesn't actually show just the default backdrop color.
I've seen people talking about skyboxes and I've had a look into it, I had trouble with that as well but I'm also wondering if a sky box is an over kill because in the game you only look and move forward.
Can any one help me out on this please or advice, I'm new to coding so I'm really trying to keep things simple at this stage, hence why I think a textured plane would be best, but any advice would be appreciated.
