I not really get how I can make good light. What I try is this:


Even when I set the light range to 10000 I can't see my player. Of course if I look better and I rotate him than I can see him because some tiny light.
But I would expect some more light with an range of 10000. Does someone know how to fix this?

Code seems alright. Can you post a screenshot? Or better still an executable?

I did found the problem. But when I use +40 lights my game is lagging horrible. :/
Something to fix that?

-.- 40+? you know Technically directX can't support more than 7, yeah? I can't think of any possible reason you'd need around 40 hardware lights xD
