Ok I just switched to DBP and I'm trying to transfer my DBC projects over to DBP and its giving me odd errors like I tried to have a FOR NEXT loop and i used for mods=1 to dpmods and it was giving me an error just because I used the variable mods of which i see nothing wrong with and now I'm getting a problem with this line and I see nothing wrong with it

it works in dbc, I just need some help with this since i'm just transfering over to this. and don't ciritcize saying ttt isn't a good variable to use its abreviations for stuff

EDIT:

I'm starting to think its not my programs and that it is DBP, because even things I try that other people have made aren't working, only some files do, like it won't paste images for me. it won't do anything

temporary title=tt
refers to a temporary text id

layers is an array of layers displaying which text will be pasted first so they don't appear in the incorrect order

and tex$ is the array controlling information about the text like the color x position y position.

and it gave me a syntax error

When converting from Classic to Pro there are some variables that work fine in Classic but are reserved keywords in Pro. Make sure none of your variables are colored blue.

If it's not compiling examples and such, then here is a revised list of questions:
What version of DBPro are you using?
Are you running Win7 SP1?
Do you have Avast Antivirus installed?
Is it compiling an exe, but the exe's always crash?
Is it giving an error when you compile?
What error message is it giving you?

The error I got was about using strings and values.

This fixes it...

Sometimes u need to put values into temporary variables

thats seems sooo unnecessary. that just changing what i put in my array fixes it but whatever. I kind of figured DBP had no bugs. puts a damper on my modd :/

edit:
and the version of DBP i'm using is the one that comes with the free download. I'm not sure if thats the latest. if not, how do i go about getting the latest
