Model Pack 54 is now available!

This pack contains almost everything you need in order to create a challenging puzzle game. Introducing new non-shooter weapons, which will take your puzzles one step further. Why have a head-up display showing the map or information when you can provide them straight into the players hands? Using the same arms and extended animations as the re-rigged stock weapon will make integrating these weapons in your project easy. There are no limitations to what the non-shooter weapons can bring into your game, whether it’s an educational game or the goriest game of the year.

For more details please visit http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2288

My guess would be Cyborg Art. Just a guess though because I honestly don't know. Great job, whoever the artist is.

After months of work its finally out

I hope you people will enjoy it.

I'm having issues with the TST App Center!

I placed the TST App Center exe file into the FPSC root directory and the TSTcreator folder within the "FPS Creator\Files" folder. The path.txt file has the line: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\FPS Creator which is correct for where FPS Creator is located.

However, when I click on the icons, "Achievement Creator" and "Non-shooter Duplicator" I get a message in the window title that the path can't be found and that you must start with TST App Center, which I did.

The "Texture Merger" title bar says something like, "Texture merger for dual textures. Follow instructions in each window." There are no windows and after it sleeps for a couple of seconds this DBPro window closes.

Obviously this is a very important part of this whole pack, so I hope to be able to get this going soon. I was already hoping to use it in my current game, current level.

As you can see by the path, I am using Windows 7 x64.

Thanks for any immediate help that can be provided.

Important Addendum:

For some reason the path.txt file was place in the "Files\TSTCreator" folder. It actually should be placed in the folder where the exe file is located.

It is working for me now. The above info is for those who are also having a similar problem.

Yes, the tex merger is working as far as I know. I just actually haven't run it through paces completely.

There are three windows that open up one by one. Apparently to get the textures. And then there is a final window to save the textures. I just pressed cancel each time. I'm not sure about the exact number to collect the textures but I think it was three.

This is going to be a great pack and what I really like about it is the ability to create our own stuff. It is very versatile. This is going to work great in conjunction with my RPG Mod. I couldn't ask for anything more. This and the mod complement each other really well.

A question I was thinking about. Can we also use our own alien fonts as well as the one provided? I haven't looked but this might be asked by others.

I guess you can, you would need to make a retexture of the translation notes for your own font. This could even be accomplished trough paint

This is a wonderful model pack, thanks for creating it I love it. I am however having a problem with the "find" photo. When I pick it up the photo and the arms go almost invisible. It's only for that one, so I'm sure it's something simple. Anyway I have attached a screenshot. Thanks!!!

I tried to confirm this; but, to no avail. The hand does show up for me as you can see.

I'm not sure if any of this matters but let me ask these questions:

1. In your setup.ini file: what is your "dynamiclighting," "postprocessing," and "newblossershaders set at"?

2. In your preferences what are your "lighting shadows," "Visuals," and "texture quality" set at?

This pack looks superb, If I was still using fpsc and not dark basic bro I would indeed buy this pack. The problem with this pack is there are only some puzles, not that you could not mix and mach but still. In dark basic pro I can impliment puzzles easy and If thease where the style of the game I was making I would try them out.But the wepons and the entites are worth the buy.

Great job

my signature keeps being erased by a mod So this is my new signature.

OK, next thing. Be sure it is only the name of the image including the extension and not a path name. Also, make sure you didn't mistype it. Does it follow the same path as I indicated?

If that's the case then the image file for custom work belongs somewhere else. Kind of similar to the path.txt file was in the wrong place. That happens.

Actually, I haven't tried making an achievement yet. I'll do that now.

I used an image file that was already there called rifle.jpg and it worked. So, can't help other than what I have already mentioned. Maybe I'm missing something; but, I don't think so.

Oh, where does this error occur? Right after you type in the name of image? And which image? Or somewhere else?

You might want to try re-downloading. The app might be corrupted. Another thought, are you using the correct extension that they allow? (jpg, tga, dds, or bmp). If so try re-downloading. If still not working maybe Cyborg Art will have an idea. He should be on-line soon.

Sorry for late response.
What happens on line 108 is actually saving the achievementpicture.

Can you tell me what the short name of your achievement is? Are you using any other symbols than letters?

I have no real clue on what causes this since even if I try my hardest to "break" the app, it still works.

Have you changed the folderstructure of FPSC?
Here is what the line looks like:

Could you tell me more about the achievement you are going to create.

Nice pack, long overdue.

(I guess since people need to learn rigging now if they want to use your pack in combination with EAIs weapons it might not be a bad idea to post a link to PW Productions rigging tutorials)

Call me crazy but, doesn't putting the hand texture in the same texture as the tool/weapon seem like a step backwards? I don't mean anything against the artist, but it seems to me like it would have been better if the engine was fixed up to properly handle multiple textures (which I thought Plystire did a long time ago?).

True, but as far as I know the vanilla FPSC cant support shaders on a weapon with multiple textures. So the only way I found to get shaders looking good on the weapons are having them shared on the same map.
