Great!
Quote: "I bought this pack immediately after figuring out the ins/outs of the FPSC Free and ordering the full FPSC. It is excellent.
It is clear the time and effort that went into it- money well spent."
Thanks for the kind words!
Quote: "The merge/achievement etc tools are really important aspects, and they are really confusing. The pdf is well done and everything 'almost' clicks, but still a really basic step by step tutorial- even here in this thread, sure would be helpful."
I will see if I can make some videos showing how to use them.
Are there any specific area that are more unclear than another?
Quote: "Also, you ask for the user to agree to the license. I assume that the intention is that someone does not redistribute your tools and images for use as a segment/entity/image/model collection/scripts, etc. but, certain what we use and create can go right into a commercial game, since that is the idea in purchasing a model pack of tools to create the game with. Correct?"
Thats for the duplicator-app. I wanted to make it clear for the user that the application just duplicates an allready existing non-shooter weapon, and that the original license for the model pack applies.
Of course you can use it in your commercial game, it would make no sense to not allow it
Quote: "Basically, I would like to make use of the logic of the puzzle foundations, and customize the text in book images for hints or puzzle combinations, and maybe paint original posters for hints."
I dont know if its a question, statement or if it goes with the previous question

But thats almost the point behind the pack, that the users can edit the assets to suit their game.
Quote: "I had to relocate all items for the apps to make them work, and have succeeded at doing so now."
What did you need to relocate?
Quote: " But, I still can't wrap my head around placing new content(text etc) in an image and having it appear as its own new entity for use in game."
If you are talking about an entity like a poster, then you would need to retexture it in a image manipulation software like photoshop or GIMP
Quote: " And, the screen pop-ups that say 'achievement'- I am sure the text can be edited on these to match the logic of a new game, but not sure where/how to do this? Like get gree puzzle piece "achievement only 3 more etc"."
You should be able to do it via the achievementcreator, or editing allready existing huds with photoshop or GIMP.
They are gathered in gamecore/TheScaryThinker/Achievement
I hope it helped you a bit.
