Hi all! So last night i essentially made up my own image file format (it severely needs compression algorithms) and for it i have an image reader and an image writer. It's easy to make Windows open up the reader when i click on one of the files, but i know there is a way for the program to know what file to open. How can i do this? I tried the CL$() command but it didnt work and im not sure if thats what i want...

All help again highly appreciated!

Edit Just realized that the title of this post is highly inaccurate

kl$=right$(cl$(),len(cl$())-1)
kl$=left$(kl$,len(kl$)-1)

kl$ is the file to open
