I'm looking to buy it but my computer has vista and I don't want to spend money on something that won't work

System specs:

RAM:3GB
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 4350 (512MB)
OS: Windows Vista Basic (32bit)
Processor: AMD Athlon X2

so would it run on my computer?

It's not compatible because it was created with XGUI, which is not compatible. The author of XGUI recently posted that he would try to re-compile XGUI to work with Vista/7. I haven't seen a reply yet, and it may not work. But, if it does work, XGUI (and, therefor X-Quad) will work on Vista and Win7.

Dark Physics works fine on XP (and yes I've used it on XP so I'm sure). You may need to download an additional driver though... but that would be the same for any operating system.

Without making changes to xQuad Editor, it is too limited to its own features. I don't know if it allows ingame scripting, but if not, the features it has, are pretty basic. I suggest owning the plugins in which it was written, and get the source code, to add your own custom effects... and so on.
