Lots of great pictures were taken by Wolf for the model pack 54.
Some of them went up on the website, but I want to show the rest in this thread.

Thanks again Wolf!

Before I go off into a rant. Great pics, although they are a little dark and can't see what they're holding. Might be my eyes though.

[rant]

I hope you don't have the same response that I had with RPG Mod. The people interested in FPSC has mainly the shoot 'em up concept of game play. "I just wanna make a bunch of zombies and then let the player kill them all before they kill the player." "I want great weapons and graphics." "I don't want to have to think."

I'm sorry for being a little negative here. But, I do wish they would use some of that grey matter that they were blessed with.

One thing that needs to be mentioned in support of this model pack is that it does not have to completely revolve around clues, hints and puzzles throughout the game. These can be used in conjunction with other concepts of a game. Unless it's a game used for educational purposes, I'm of the opinion, although I might be wrong, a game can have more variety in game design rather than just be a shooter game or a RPGame, or a puzzle game. Mix it up a little. Get the player immersed in the game in other ways than just shooting something.

[/rant]

I support this model pack and I believe it is a must-have to make a great game even greater.

Some of the screenshots may be a little dark, but I cant do much about it for the moment.

As for the other things you have written, I agree with you.

Still, making a game where the only goal is to kill 100 zombies could sometimes be more fun

But FPSC can do so much more than that, its capable of doing almost all kind of games in a first person perspective.

I think that model pack 54 is usefull for both types of creators. For the ones who wants to make a tricky puzzlegame there are all the cool features and "weapons", and for the ones that just want to bash som zombiebrain there are the melee weapons.

An example of use of the non shooter weapons in an action game would be creating a retexture of the translation book. Make it a survival guide and show how to kill the model pack 52 monsters.

This was actually version I was going to add, I even got permission from bond1. But I did allready have too many things to do to get the model pack done.

This is just a concept of how it could look like, its not even a texture, just a paint over:

And thanks for the great support

Yes, we need more examples of how this can compliment a Zombie or SciFi shoot em up game. I don't know how long it will be but I will put up some pics and maybe a video using this mod.

Amazing Pack Cyborg Art! Looks extremely beutiful even in FPSC! I can tell youve put real effort into this. If I see any more of these amazing screens I might have to buy this pack

P.S: The screens really remind me of Bioshock (1st one)... especially the hands

Cheers,
Anayar

Looking good... I'm glad we're finally integrating logic into the model packs, educational and innovative to say the last.

One question though, the hand models can these be switched as in per-game or are they static and will have to be manually retextured? I ask because I noticed the dual movements when holding the photo's for example...

I cant understand your question, you mean if you can have another set of hand for the weapons?

sorry, it's been a long day!

What I mean is, the hand models I see in the video above can we easily change them the way we do now with other model packs?

Kudos again for the hard work put into this btw.

Is the shader used in the screen-shots the new stock weapon shader?
I can never get specular highlights on it.

Why does my grammar/spelling suck so much?!?!?

Its a "new" shafer edited by Roger Wilco to get the right effect, it now reads the specular from the normalmaps alpha.
The stock textures will probably be edited to get it working.

Thanks for telling me.

This pack is very original and is very good quality.
This pack opens up new possibilities for developers.

Correct, some of the melee weapons from my GC store account has been updated with the new set of hands and also got all the new animations.
I may update the GC store weapons in the future, to use the new hands.

Finally someone who gives a good insight into what his Pack actually contains, the most packs (often the lesser quality) do not give an insight into the content of the pack.
But after seeing the pdf i have to say you got my money!
