Geforce 6200 is way too weak to do anything serious in FPS Creator.

I wouldn't necessarily say WAY too weak, it is the unrefined 6800 with 4 pipes locked, you can unlock the pipes yourself manually essentially giving you a GeForce 6800, overclocking with RivaTuner is rather easy to do too...

aside of that charger bandit is right, comparatively it IS a weak card by today's standards, but with some tweaking on your system and on the card itself, you could bring it to a sub-standard level! Google it!

You can't run FPS Creator with fullscreen shaders normally with either 6200 or 6800,if we were 5 years in the past, that would be top machine.

Please treat yourself nicely and get a decent card that supports shader model 3.0 at the least.

You could easily pick up a 7900 GS for around $35 if you have access to Ebay. I don't know what country you are
from so I can't say that price for certain but at least you can look! The 7900 GS is cost effective and it should
offer you some performance that you drastically need! If you want, you could try for an 8800 GT or 9800 GT for around
$50 on Ebay. I have a Zotac 9800 GT in one of my builds and its still a great performer in today's standards!

The closest I had to that card was the 6150SE in my old desktop before I upgraded to a new computer with a GTS250. It performed as expected for an integrated card. It provided crisp shadows, and sharp textures in FPS Creator, but it couldn't run bond1's PS2/PS3 segment/entity shaders, and it couldn't run full screen shaders, either. With shader effects simply enabled under preferences, it took a noticable performance drop It worked fine in it's day and age producing what could be considered last-gen games without all of bond1's new fancy shader effects, but you will need to make an upgrade if you want to step into the current-gen development era. Just make sure your other computer components can handle whatever new card you throw into it (power supply, etc).

Wow. It didn't occur to me that you had such a shotty card in your system. Your previous work certainly doesn't show it!

Also one thing to know ByNow, the 7900 GS I believe doesn't require extra power and I know my 9800 GT doesn't need
extra power either. Listen to Kravenwolf and get something that doesn't require extra power connectors. I suspect your
power supply doesn't have a PCI-E 6 pin connector.

Well, seeing how that is around $55, I think you'd be better off getting one of the mentioned above. I also think because
you seem to have an nforce board, you might want to try Nvidia graphics cards... but thats just what I'd do.

You don't have to use Nvidia, but I would.

More specifically speaking though, how much money are you comfortable spending? Your answer
might help us see what you are shooting for cost to performance wise.

I just wobbles about the cheapest graphics card, so they see the effects. Propagates to me is that the holiday wants to buy a new computer and it does not pay me to spend a lot of money on a graphics card, And the least expensive card that meets the requirements

and this card I wrote earlier?

The 3450 might get some of it done but don't expect the best performance; thats all I'm going to say.

The laptop I use to build with these days has a 6200 integrated card and handles PS 3.0 so your good to go with current x9 sshaders for FPSC. Thing is I expect any game I create on this to fly on better machines and it forces me to rely on good media rather than effects..
The only issue you will have is a performance drop using fullscreen shaders which I always feel are a total waste of time anyhow.
If you intend to buy a new comp soon I wouldn't waste my money right now as you can still get a good idea of what you want your game to look like with the card you have for now.
