thanks Kamac,
I will work on fixing the round pond problem.
I also intend to complete the following tasks before I move onto the next phase of this project...
-make night time look better
-add saving capability
-make better ocean ripple
-add beach breakers -(hard problem)
-add sound
-add some wildlife with AI
-try to speed up the tree placement
-improve beaches
-improve rain
-improve GUI
-improved land types and features
My end goal is a randomly generated world that is beautiful to look at and interesting to explore. In the later stages of the project I intend to be able to explore anything from an island forest through to a galaxy, with the scale of the world only dictated by how much hard drive space the user is willing to use.
The key principal of this project is random generation. I want to be able to play my own game and not already know what is going on or what is going to happen.
I have many Ideas I wish to place into this, and I quite often get lost in thought conceptualizing them. One step at a time, and for now I am reasonably pleased with this Island generator.
Sometimes I like to use words out of contents
