I am fixing up my sisters old computer for my neighbors.
It has a Ethernet controller daughterboard that is detected as a PCI Ethernet controller/PCI Communications device.
On the chip is printed PCNET HT2001 9926
On GOOGLE I've seen many unanswered requests for drivers.
Driverguide.com points you to AMD (wrong)
And the SiS900 software does not work either.
One of the rare time that I gave up. I did discover how to map unknown devices so as to not get them to be detected on boot or show red x's in the device manager.
