Hi, I was wondering if anyone has considered converting the FPSC engine into an alternative language. I know this would be a monstrous task and would probably become a community project, to have people convert separate parts and send off to a single individual who compiles and verifies to make sure everything is okay. Though I think that the end product would be well worth it. It would become much faster, and have no limitations which are afore mentioned in Hockeykid's Project Blue Post.

I haven't touched FPSC in some time but I think I'd like to have a play around with it today and hopefully be inspired to begin something like this.

I had considered it. I then decided that such a 'monstrous' task would need some extreme dedication, converting the thousands of lines of code into another language, with possibly more than that.

You are right though, a team would be necessary.

A team might be a necessary stage for those that do not have large amounts of time to dedicate in such a task. I do know of one that has converted code into a different language- it took some dedication and long hours, but it was done successfully.

I have been trying to look for something that can allow for JavaScript insertion or atleast something that can allow to give you element ids for images
