Hello, TGC Forum!

Quick question...

I am building a game in FPS Creator. I have 4 levels designed already for 1 game executable.

However, I want one of my levels to reflect a night theme and another level to reflect a day theme.

The Global Script variable under BUILD GAME does not have that function, so my question is:

Can I assign different global scripts for each level through, like, a trigger zone or something?

I tried using this script...

:state=0,plrwithinzone=1:sky=X,ambience=X,ambiencered=X,ambiencegreen=X,ambienceblue=X,fog=X,fogred=X,fogblue=X,foggreen=X,music=X,state=1

...as the main AI with a trigger zone, placed it above my start marker in my level and tested it out, but it didn't work. I assigned the necessary variables for X as well (i.e. ambience=25, ambiencered=255, etc.)

I know there is a way to assign different global scripts to each level, I just don't know how...

...and I SUCK at scripting because I am still learning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I believe "sky=" will only work in the level set up script and not in a trigger zone.

I think there is a tutorial on changing the amience and sky box between levels in the community guide.

Have you looked at this?
