When i attempt to change the resolution in setup it always resets itself when i test game.
Fpsc seems to have lost something,no matter what antialaising setting i use with my graphics card, fpsc always has that horrid stepping effect,i have been playing crysis a lot lately, could it be because my eyes are used to crysis?
I am using beta 10 V18,any help will be gratefull

Yep, it happens, you can only change it in a built game, and the AA, there is no AA in FPSC even if you use your graphics card settings.

You can force your graphics card to AA anything. At the moment, I've got fpsc-game.exe set up to be forcible antialiased by my graphics card; I did it through the nVidia Control Panel. This is a great help to me since the test game resolution is locked at 1024 x 768 and I run a 1920 x 1080 screen. However, this is not something you can distribute I believe, so even if you do create some custom settings for your game .exe, other users wouldn't get the benefit of it.

Yup, you can force AA and AS on all DX and OpenGL output using nVidia's Control Panel or ATI's Catalyst Panel!

Most semi-serious gamers will have their graphics cards already rigged up if they have decent spec machines! However, I see some of the resolution issues and others being fixed before the final build of 118...

but there is also something about AA in the migration thread:
Quote: "Support for anti-aliasing. Level of AA controlled via flag in setup.ini."

I found out how to use AA in your finished FPSC game, just do this simple task:

Export your finished game.
Open up your graphics card panel(this is for NVIDIA).
Go to programme settings and click add.
Find your game in the list and click it.
Go to antialaising-mode and click Override any aplication setting.
Go to antialaising-setting and crank it up to x16.
When you start your game it should now look fantastic without that horrid stepping effect.
This only works with a finished game as i cant figure out how to do it for a preveiw, hope this helps.

I tried it and I saw the result.
Just go to in setup.ini and write flag= and write 2 or 4 after equal sign.
Then by getting screenshots you can see the difference between 0 and 2 and 4.

And my frame rate didn't change because I was getting 60FPS at all time
Maybe in lower system you see the frame rate is coming down.
And I have to say I tested this with a built level.
And you can use width and height to change the resolution and if it's not in your setup.ini of a built level you can easily add.

If you don't trust me about AA I will send some screens

I tried it in a built game.
I just put the flag= under [GAMERUN] after the latest line.

Today I send screenshot.

This does NOT work. Nowhere in the source code is multi-sampling used.

The only reference in the setup file to anti-aliasing is the 'antialias' string, and that is not used.

I am really sorry because I late.
My FPSC crashed and there were lots of problem here.
You can compare the screens from one scene.

I saved them as PNG to save the quality.
