Okay, guys I have to prove myself to you all that I am legit, this evening I will start making a model from scratch and post the progress of it here same place, and hopefully I will have it done in a couple of days. I will attach screen-shots of my progress from the modelling, texturing and animation to show you, I am legit and I don't claim to be the best Freelance Artists so if you have any recommendations for improvement I would gladly hear it, even critisim which I am sure I will here from Bootlicker, who has been bashing me the hardest of you all. I understand everyone has to prove themselves before being excepted here, and I have alot to prove from my past behavior. I would like to thank Cosmic Prophet for giving me this chance and hopefully after my probationary period you guys will learn to trust me, I have seen a lot of good models from you guys and I would like to work together not against you, I understand the rules and I will abide by them from here out.

quite frankly buddy, if you are legit i do not have a problem apologising: but not until i see something. Hell, if you are of good enough quality I will probably rig them to EAI anims for myself and post a few shots.

Bootlicker,

No harm no foul, got it and you are defenitely what this forum needs, don't hack or get bashed. I will warn you my weapons are no EAI standard, but I believe they are suitable for gamers and I still have more to learn, so anything you guys can comment about the weapons I make will be welcomed even negative comments, it just builds character. But enough talk I will start posting screen shots tonight as I start building my weapon from start to finish. And once again thanks guys for this chance to redeem myself!

LOL, Oh, don't worry about that, you will, and you'll get used to it.

Your welcome, just keep one thing in mind, don't worry about letting us down, rather Don't let yourself down. Take all the time you need, and do your best work. The gratification you will get from that, is far more valuable, than trying to please someone else.

There are few as skilled, and talanted as my friend ErrentAI, and I dont believe anyone here expects you to knock out anything as good as his. He is among the "Legends" around here, and has worked long, and hard for the respect he retains, and he is deserving of it.

I speak for no one here but myself, and it would be really nice to see you come through this, and become another valuable member of this community. So it's all on you brother. Again, good luck.

How about we just make this real clear. When talking about textures ask yourself:

1. Did I physically take a camera and and get a picture myself?
2. Do I personally know the person who took the picture?
3. If I did not take the photo or can't reach over and touch the guy who did, do I have express written and signed in triplicate forms saying I am allowed to use the photo?

If the answer is no to these, well then you can't use the picture. Google doe not mean it's free. It's just there.

For the model:

1. Did I physically pay money for the modeling software or use freeware with a clear and intelligible end user license agreement?
2. Did I physically start from scratch and make the model?
3. Do I know the person who did? Not his screen name, but personally, like it was your friend or relative?

If the answer is no, then you cannot use the model. Also, student versions CANNOT be used to make commercial models or give them away for others to make commercial games with. They are for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

If you think it is OK to use what you find on the internet as if it was yours then I now own your email address, face-book, and your identity because, oh look, I found it on Google. Use common sense and if all else fails ask here if it is legal. People are never flamed just for asking ahead of time, and in fact can be honorable for trying to do the right thing. Also, if you have to ask then the answer is no!

EDIT, I see he is going to post some screens of his progress. However I guess this is not just for this thread, but all threads where it is unsure where models and textures might have come from.

Okay, guys for all of you that know how to model, understand that a animated models can not be completed in a day, plus I recieved a post saying I can not use images from google without written permission from the author, so I will not be using CA weapons for modelling I have sent them an email requesting permission to use their images, so in the mean time I have some images that are free source images, I was told to take my time so I have a good quality model to showcase here, so please be patient I will upload my screen shots, I just wanted to get a little far along in the modeling so I could present them in a logical sequence. But if you want screen shots off in on I can do that to, I want this to be a good representation of what I can do, and if I rush it, it will be less than what I am capable of producing.

Okay, guys here is a picture of the image I will be modeling, so I will attach it here, and as I build the weapon I will show the progress of it as it is built from start to finish. I just wanted to post the image so you can see what is to come, I will also attach a photo in a couple of days of the hands I will be modeling I just want to focus on the weapon, at this time then I will complete the hands second.

word of advise, if you are going to make a accusation about my models. like Antonio Alonzo did you better be right, he spoke to turbosquid and told them I was in violation of copyright infringement, they immediately removed my model from the sight. I put in a counter explaining to turbosquid that this individual, could have not made this claim that I had violated copyright infringement because he never downloaded it, they investgated by downloading my weapon and determined it did not violate any copyright and told me they will take legal action against this person for slandering the name of one of their modelers with no malice. Why you did it Alonzo is puzzling but apparently you are going to pay the price, I told turbosquid to the issue from my past and I had learned my lesson and from here on out I have been legit. They ask me if I wanted to persue legal action and I said no, Alonzo your the biggest looser here not me.

i didnt want to comment but realy! all that 'your photo' is a internet picture. I suggest you get moving mate and stop digging the hole.
If this is NOT legit then you will probably have a law suit on your hands.

Legal action over a $3.50 model? ...

Ron, or whatever alias you want to go by, you have given the FPSC community no reason to trust you whatsoever. Post a screenshot in your modeling program of any weapon you have even started and you will stop receiving so much slack.

dont forget me i also reported you.i didnt download the model but i reported you as i thought it strange that you claim to have made a model yet instead of posting screenshots of it you post screenies from the combat arms website & game of one of there models.

even if the model turns out to be yours you were still using false advertising.

What do you mean I am hurting myself how could it get in worse when ppl blast send false emails to turbosquid, even once I get my screen shots here and prove myself stop the blasting at least till have my screen shots because otherwise I will not have any sales because of you guys, and secondly I sent CA arms an email they said I can use the images if that's all so back off.
