Basically i want a matrix to lower a bit when a player clicks on it, now this isn't really a hard task but how would i create like a tunnel in a matrix?

A tunnel cannot be achieved with any kinds of planar surface tools.

That's primarily achieved by absolutely manually get into details with a 3d editor program. Or maybe you could paste pre-made tunnel models onto a deformed matrix in a way it looks fine. Hiding the intersections with creativity like clever texturing and vegetation...

You could try with two matrix and a texture black and white. Then you rise up the first matrix and down the second one. It´ s gona be a bended but flat tunel.

Sorry for the delay...here it is, I hope you like it .
This technique uses two matrix to create a cave. Both are modeled with a heightmap texture and a path texture. The matrix for the roof is formed with the heightmap plus path texture...the matrix for the floor is modeled with the same heightmap but less the path texture to form a cave.

cheers
