Ok, so I want to be able to click a link to take me to the game after the imput, not the enter key, I know hitting the enter key records the imput to a record but I need to click a link to do this instead and Im not shure how to.help

Use the Entry$ command as it does not need you to press enter to return the string. Also is nice because it does not pause your program.

Here is a example of it.

well this worked, thanks, but I still have problems, people can still enter the game putting a name in or not and I need it to where you have to enter your name in to start any game. so this is what I have.

Then here is how you do it.



The "Len" command checks for the number of characters in the string. There are more commands also, so take a look at the help file if you want to know the text commands.

Also, make sure you use "Clear Entry Buffer" command to clear the string if you are planning on getting input from that command again. Otherwise, if you did not clear the entry buffer, then it will still have the old input stored in there.

To me right now you are the king of imput, ok, now I need to know sence this keeps track of the imput strings then is there a way that I can make it to where you can only print in 10 letteres for your name and no more?

EDIT:By the way. thid did work great
