FPSC Classic Models and Media / This is a model I am working on an AK74U Gold

I have been accused of hacking, which is not totally untrue, when I first started the learning process of modelling I unfortunately made a big error and merged a top modelers weapon with mine, I am now more experienced and able to do my own work. I am attaching progress from start to finish of this weapon from the modeling, texturing, rigging and animating to show it is my work. I ask if you are moderator to spread this around so I can clear my name, I have been taking a lot of heat from others accusingme of being nothing more than a hacker, I am legit and I am determined to clear my name. And once the model is complete I will attach the completed weapon here so it can be tested by all to see its legit and it will be FREE to all who would like to have it. To all FPS Creator Forum users, modelers and moderator I appologize and I figured it would be best to show I am legit in stead of trying to explain myself.

The screenshot I am attaching is of my weapon in progress, it will take a little time to finish, but I do not get this thread suspended I will post the finished product here.

Thanks again and hopefully we can rectify this issue, so I can be none as a top modeler and not the hacker from the past.

K+Looks nice, but knowing your history could you at least show some evidence you made it?

Polo

I have attached a screenshot, of my model. please explain how can I verify it any clearer, that I did this? Just so I am not spinning my wheels here! I will do what you want within reason! I can model but for all the heat I have been taking lately I am about to call this whole thing off, I model because I enjoy it if I get to much more heat over this I think I will have to model just for myself and leave the modeling to those who got good reps.

Okay, guys here is my weapon HUD since people want to see proof that this is my work, take it about do with it as you like, and tell me what you think, if you still don't think this is mine I give up, and will not continue with this project.

Come on guys, give him a break. Although in the past he's infringed on copyright he may well have stopped. We should judge each action on it's own, now he knows the limit and deserves to be treated fairly.

However, if this turns out to be a copy...

Sure when I get home tonight I will place a screen shot of the model in wire frame, I sent the HUD for the weapon but I still have alot of work on it yet to finish it. Adding the arms, texture, rigging and animation I will send screenshots of them as I do them so you can see the whole process as it is completed. its just taking a little time with school but I will finish it.

Was going to ask the same thing. Multiple angles if you please, and larger screens so we can see the details.

HEY BOOT is that to many, just askin I can make it less poly count, if needed? Well I will have to restart the model, but it's cool.

yeah thats waaay too much. a normal weapon in FPSC has about 2000-4000 polys.

also just upload your image to imageshack or whatever and post the link in the brackets when you press the button with image above the box you write in.

All said and done I understand what is ging on here, but rules are rules and you need an in-game screenshot to post here or it should be posted in 3dchat till you get it FPSC ready.

Hey guys I have decided to stay off the forum for 1 to 2 weeks that will give me the time to make weapons model from start to finish, with screenshots along the way, and of course a fully functional weapon equipped with animation, texture and complete model I will place the zip folder here for all to download which will be FPS ready. Reason being I am tired of trying to explain myself and getting bashed in thrashed for it, this way you can judge my weapon not me. Many of you have been cool but many more cut me off at the neck and don't give up, Rome was not built in a day and neither are weapons. However, bootlicker and cosmic thanks for your positive feed back, I will return again soon!

Ron: Still want to see a wireframe of the gun within Blender. The one's boot provided are too hard on the eyes...I think it burned pink into my vision.

I don't use blender, lol. Though there are reasons for seeing the wireframe within blender(most modeler's here would know what I'm talking about). This would benefit you greatly.

As for DarkJames and loler, assumptions just make you look bad not Ron. I'd wait to actually see more progress before you start comparing models with other media.

Lol, you posted a single low resolution image of a gun that's similar. Unless your Data, I can't see it being possible to derive such a conclusion as piracy by comparing the two.
