TGC Store, because there are limits to download products purchased?

Often not because of me, I format the computer, or when I install or mod crashes FPSC, for various reasons, I lose all the files purchased in the store, and I have to re-download.

Since they are weapons, and other items that have files scattered on the folders are not even able to make a backup, at least put the possibility to download a zip ...
Or avoid placing limits on downloads

Well, you can email Lee or one of the TGC members over the store to reset your count. I'm sure they will be happy to do it.

The current limit that is in place is there for obvious reasons. They don't want 1 account buying everything and then
everyone passing the account around and just downloading limitlessly all the media off the store.

For the moment I'm at 3 downloads, but I start to worry.
In my opinion, could also limit the download, but at least put a zipped version, so keep it.

Download the standalone version of the store. It has an option to save zipped backups. I don't know why this feature can't be integrated into the FPSC version of the store.

Yes that's it. You will see a button called download settings on the main window. Click that and make sure the option to save a zipped backup is ticked and there you go a zipped backup which you can save to cd, usb etc.

Really needs to be in the FPSC integrated store.

Their method is still rather flawed. They don't want you passing the account, but what's stopping someone from uploading the content that is zipped? Maybe there is something that I don't know about?

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

Nothing. Just like nothing is stopping them stripping the media without the zip file and distributing it. Just like we saw just the other day with bond's "legal" shaders. Just like with ALL computer media these days, you have to trust that the majority of people do the right thing.

EDIT
The pirates will always have a reason why it's ok for them to pirate. I mean look at Warfronts. He got banned for a week(?) for discussing piracy and so decided that his best recourse was to create a torrent of most of the TGC media. He probably would have done it anyway but now he feels justified because he received a 1 week ban. (Which Warfronts even though you are 99% sure it was me who banned you, I am 100% sure I didn't and the moderator audit log proves it without a shadow of a doubt!)

So basically TGC needs more...protection related products. I know there is one that's like $80, but you know what I actually miss? Phoenix Game Protection. Was shut down over piracy, from what I was told.

I have never had a problem, even if you reach the limit you can always send an email to sales/support to reset. Easy to tell if you are abusing the system. Not an issue from what I see.
