Alright. So I've had DarkGDK installed for over a year now, and decided to refresh myself in it, as it's summer time and with some free time I've now got, I can have a bit of fun. So, I compiled the default (2D) code to see if it worked... And it didn't. I get the following errors:

I googled the error, and a person said it was fixed by reinstalling the August 2007 SDK. I did so, but it didn't seem to work. Anyone got an idea on how to fix it?

Have you checked that you are compiling with the August 2007 SDK?
Tools->options->projects and solutions->VC++ directories

C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (August 2007)\Utilities\Bin\x86

Is the first line. Is that the correct path it should be? (Obviously I'm on a 32 bit system.)

Hmm, that multiplayer lib problem is usually down to a later version of DirectX being used.

One option you have is to create a dummy multiplayer lib, you can search around the forum for information how to do that.

Alright. I uninstalled everything, all versions of DirectX SDK as well. Reinstalled it, and it worked.

Took quite awhile with my slow internet, but was worth it.
