Hi there,
Just my second post, so forgive me if repeating things.
Any recommendations for storm-like effects?
Flashes of light, sky backdrop lightning, rain falling with changes to ground, and triggering lights/power outs?
Thanks.

you can use the other light script "Light2.fpi" that makes the light flicker you can put a light a few layers up in your level with the light radius at its highest and that would be like lightning..
and you could use a trigger zone to turn your lights off...

Is it possible to link a sound to the lighting as well? That idea I think will work.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

Attached is a script and sound I used a while back to simulate a stormy night. Place the script in the scriptbank folder and assign it to a trigger zone. Place the sound in your audiobank\user folder. Adjust your ambience or the script values to match your level.

Whenever you step into a zone, the lightning will flash and the thunder will roar. Place a few zones in strategic places along the path of the player.
