Hello,
After roaming the Models section I have really become interested in making models (again). I just don't really know where to start so if some one could point me to the right direction I would be grateful for that.

I have had 1 yr experience with Google sketch up but I've heard that it has to many polys than necessary... So what is a (nice) 3D model maker that isn't harsh on a semi-noob?

Also, what is the size in the model maker compared to FPSC in Segments? in feet or inches or??? Do I need any special plugins to make a model for FPSC?

Sorry for all these questions lately but I just want to get started with making a nice 3D game with FPSC or maybe a 3D modeler..

Thank you all for reading this

A good beginner's app is Anim8or, it's what I use outside of school so I recommend you try that.

As for sizing, I don't know but using something like Entity Workshop to import your models you can change the size.

Here I have instructions and some links for importing models to FPSC.
