Hi group,

I saw one thread that was similar, but it doesn't answer this completely, so I apologize if it has been answered elsewhere.

How does Clipboard work? I understand the basics of cut/copy/paste, and I know how to highlight a level including multi-levels to move, cut, delete, etc. I read in the user pdf about fast delete of entities, etc.

But, I don't know what Clipboard edit mode does and cannot figure out its benefit.
Does it have anything to do with, and is there ANY way, to copy paste from one map to another? I know how to make a prefab for segments/doors/windows, but is there any way, perhaps some kind of copy to clipboard, to paste into a new map?

Thanks in advance.

I may be wrong but I dont believe FPSC will hold anything on the clipboard that you can cut from one map then open another and paste it to - unfortunately.

That would be good. Very good.

I think for now, the best you can do is select 'File - Save As...' and save the map to a different name. Then add, delete, change whatever you need to.

Brian.
