im intrested in knowing if that possible and if you can just enter into a trigger zone and BAM the water rises!

also is it possible to edit the rise script, and what would i need to edit, id like it to take around 45 seconds for the water to rise to the ceiling of a 6 story room, but with only 2 stories with water to start with.

if you can help then youd be a life saver.... well for me... not the player!

thanks

In the waterscripts folder there is a script called raisewater.fpi that makes the water raise when activated. You can adjust where the water level starts and how high it goes but by default it doesn't include adjustments for speed. You may be able to script in a timer/delay for that.

Brian.

Just noticed this thread, thanks guys, this could be usefull for my games as well, I hadn't spotted that script before! Now all I need to figure out is how to have water pouring out of a burst pipe!

Bruce: I have a pipe pouring water in my WIP. I used the water fall from Bond's Metro Theater and a pipe from another model pack. Not sure if you have those but it looks great.

EDIT: see attached photo and ignore my crappy frame rate I'm using a very cheap laptop. Without water my top FPS only hits 50 (even when I use a mod).

I don't have the metro theater pack is there any way I can make a similar effect with decals/particles, I think I read somewhere that you can make waterfalls, but I'm not sure I'm remembering right...
