Ok thank you Mr.Zombie for that announcement. Now anyway I have decided to make a community pack like Cosmic. I will do my part for making common stuff like backgrounds, sounds ,and overlays. So guys cmon do your part! Here are some backgrounds I have done in PS CS3...

Stuff looks great bro. You need to edit the post, and use the return key in between the entries, to stack the images so they don't streach the page out into limbo.

Looking nice guys.
@Slayer - if you're after any suggestions, might I suggest making some segments not too different from the second to last background? (E.g. a wall with decaying wallpaper and so forth)

I can see you're using that one crack/grunge brush pack for photoshop (I have it too, forgot what it's called though ). Try to use the brushes to a minimum, especially when people like me come along and aren't as amazed as others (<- joking of course)

But really, if you stray away from brushes and learn how to do your own overlays from scratch (handpainting is a good thing to learn ) they will look much more original.

Nice stuff so far!

I don't do models or backgrounds or anything visual, but I do make music and ambience. I'd be happy to make some creepy music and or ambience for this pack, that is if you're accepting that type of media...?

Another manor(ish) segment. Will email them to Slayer267 shortly.



However, none of them have normal maps, specular etc. I cannot fathom how to get it to work. (I can do it on entities but never segments, the segment just appears blindingly bright.)

I use X10, and therefore don't need _I maps the x10 shader. Only the _S, _N, _D and _D2. However, buy posting it without the normals etc, I suppose it gives people the ability to make is shader ready for any FPSC (x10 or not) shader.

:EDIT: Found out how to do it , however, I won't be updating these segments. Sorry.

Since the tomohawk didn't show my true quality work(am I bragging?) so I'll make another weapon(but I'll still send the tomohawk)
