Without knowing "what you have" all of us can just guess. The help files haven't changed much in all these years especially with commands that don't get their syntax changed. What specifically is different about them?

7.6 Is the newest official stable version, but there is also a 7.7 beta test version available from a sticky on the top of the DBP board.

@Grog:
I think he's maybe referring to the section in the help which refers to the Editor? I think the help is detailing the OLD editor before Synergy became the official editor.

@ =PRoF=:

Oh, yeah you're right he's now asking about the editor.

@ Mudbud Productions:

Here's where you get 7.6: http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2000&page=upgrade7-6

In the editor if you look at the lower left of the screen you'll see small tabs with pictures on them. Hit the fourth one from the left and it'll bring up the properties. Click in the area by "Filename" to change what your .exe will be named when you compile. Where it puts the .exe is wherever you saved your project and source code. If you saved your project in c:\Documents\MyGame then the .exe will be located in c:\Documents\MyGame.

What editor are you using? That doesn't look like the default one (unless they've changed it again)

It is the default one, there is an option to change the UI style though, one of them is blue.

The one you want has been turned off. At the top of the screen on the menu click View, then move over to Toolbars and make sure Properties has a checkmark by it.
